Turn beat times into a bounded video cut plan

Use saved timing helpers to propose cuts while keeping musical judgment, frame snapping and source limits explicit.

Start here

  1. Treat detected beats as candidate times. Verify the source duration and distinguish tempo estimates from an accepted beat grid.
  2. Choose minimum shot lengths and available source intervals, then map cuts to the delivery time base.
  3. Inspect the final sequence for rhythm, meaning and repeated shots; a valid plan is only one input to the edit.

What remains uncertain

Beat detection and interval arithmetic do not establish a good musical edit. The saved fixture tests do not include a listening or audience study.
