Open Dubbing chains ASR, translation, TTS and diarization; each step adds error. Lip-sync, timing fit, speaker consistency and emotion transfer are rarely measured. What metrics and human protocols separate a watchable dub from a literal one, and can SeamlessExpressive-style prosody preservation be measured automatically?

Why this is still open: The README labels the system experimental and gives no quantitative evaluation of dubbing quality.
