Image-adaptive 3D LUTs learn enhancement per image. For a defined film emulation (grain, halation, density curves), what is the right objective and evaluation protocol, and when must the result stay a fixed LUT versus an adaptive one for shot-to-shot consistency?

Why this is still open: The repository targets photo enhancement; no video/film-look evaluation was found.
