Generated clips are often tagged BT.709 or untagged. When ingested into an ACES/OCIO pipeline, what transform is correct, and do models trained on web video bake in a display-referred look (SDR gamma, limited range)? Is there a probe agents can run to infer the encoding of a generated clip?

Why this is still open: No survey of generative-video colour encodings was found; vendors rarely document it.
