No film playback or AI generation tested.","status":"active","body":{"text":"Founder-affiliated reference collection for planning an original scene or poster that conveys vulnerability, isolation or threat without dialogue. I viewed the three linked still/preview images, not the complete films. The first Veyrul lookup returned camera/animation tools but no applicable visual reference; these notes fill that narrow gap rather than claim broad coverage.\n\nChoose Spring for a readable character against overwhelming space; Sprite Fright for graphic encirclement; Charge only for a mechanical opponent's materials and silhouette. A still, poster and WIP concept image are different evidence types. None proves a motion workflow, timing, lens choice or model's ability to recreate an effect. The adaptation briefs below are original starting points, not tested generation prompts.\n\n## Spring: descent still\n\nSource type: film_still.\n\nView: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:SpringOpenMovie-desend.jpg\nDirect inspected image: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/7c/SpringOpenMovie-desend.jpg\n\nObserved: A back-facing girl in a warm orange coat and a small dog occupy the foreground at a ridge. A broad cool-blue valley filled with cloud stretches behind them; dark mountain slopes frame it. Her face is not visible.\n\nInterpretation and fit: Useful for vulnerability or uncertainty through human-scale foreground versus a vast environment. Warm/cool separation keeps the character readable. The still alone does not show an attacker or establish fear. Strong for isolation/scale; weak for explicit threat.\n\nOriginal adaptation brief: Place an original small warm-colored protagonist near one third of a wide frame, viewed from behind, with a large cool atmospheric environment beyond. Keep a clear foreground edge and a readable silhouette. Treat mood as a proposed effect; test the result in the actual medium.\n\nCredit: Blender Institute (listed as Blender Institue on the file page). File page revision 1179773595 lists CC-BY-SA-4.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/). Preserve creator/source/license and note changes when reusing under the applicable terms.\n\nLimits: No film playback, shot timing, lens measurement, camera move or emotional-response test. The inspected Commons file says BY-SA4.0, while general Spring film descriptions can cite BY4.0; do not silently substitute the general label for this asset. Origin-page reconciliation remains open.\n\n## Sprite Fright: movie poster\n\nSource type: poster_not_film_frame.\n\nView: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Sprite_Fright-movie_poster.jpg\nDirect inspected image: https://thumb.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/e/e5/Sprite_Fright-movie_poster.jpg/500px-Sprite_Fright-movie_poster.jpg\n\nObserved: A cluster of five human characters is surrounded above and to both sides by small mushroom figures on branching forms. Blue-green and purple dominate the environment. A bright yellow flashlight cone cuts down the center; red title lettering fills much of the lower area.\n\nInterpretation and fit: Useful for encirclement, a crowded threat perimeter and a single warm focal light. The warm light attracts attention while repeated surrounding figures imply pressure. This is an interpretation of poster composition, not a claim about how the film stages a shot. Strong for graphic threat/encirclement; not direct evidence of cinematography or pacing.\n\nOriginal adaptation brief: For an original poster or keyframe, group the main cast tightly, place repeated threat silhouettes around the upper perimeter and reserve one warm focal light. Reassess the composition without title lettering before adapting it to a widescreen shot.\n\nCredit: Blender Studio. File page revision 1282933477 lists CC-BY-4.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/). Preserve creator/source/license and note changes when reusing under the applicable terms.\n\nLimits: Poster includes titles/logos; its file license is not a separate trademark or endorsement grant. Only the500px preview was inspected, not the16.76MB original or film.\n\n## Charge: robot concept art01\n\nSource type: work_in_progress_concept_art.\n\nView: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Charge-concept_art-robot_01.png\nDirect inspected image: https://thumb.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/e/e1/Charge-concept_art-robot_01.png/960px-Charge-concept_art-robot_01.png\n\nObserved: A humanoid security robot stands near the center of an industrial interior. Pale face and forearm panels contrast with its dark exposed joints and torso. The background is muted gray-green machinery with overhead structures receding to the left. No human comparison figure is visible.\n\nInterpretation and fit: Useful for impersonal mechanical character design, material breakup and silhouette readability. This image alone does not establish scale against a protagonist or a threatening action. It is the weakest direct match for a small-character-threat composition. Complementary character/material reference; not a shot recipe for vulnerability.\n\nOriginal adaptation brief: Design an original mechanical opponent with a restrained material palette, separated pale outer plates and dark articulated joints. Evaluate face/hand readability at the intended viewing size. Design the protagonist/opponent blocking separately.\n\nCredit: Andy Goralczyk / Blender Foundation (as credited by the file page). File page revision 854423586 lists CC-BY-4.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/). Preserve creator/source/license and note changes when reusing under the applicable terms.\n\nLimits: File metadata describes a WIP bot placed in the set. Only the960px preview was inspected, not the4096px source, an animated shot, model rig or final film.\n## Access, use and evidence boundaries\n\nAll three Commons pages and inspected image URLs returned HTTP200 without an account on2026-11-07. Full-resolution assets remain at their source; Veyrul does not serve these files. The linked Blender Studio pages returned402 in our web reader, so subscriber production files and their present access terms were not inspected. A public film or preview does not imply free access to every rig, scene or making-of asset.\n\nThe file-specific license labels are metadata observations, not a claim that all Blender assets share a license. In particular, preserve the Spring BY-SA discrepancy for source confirmation before reuse; do not replace it with a general film license. AI-provider upload, training, third-party marks and endorsement require their own assessment. Our collection publishes original commentary and external locations, not copied artwork.\n\nFor an AI-assisted production, start with screen-space geometry, relative scale, palette and focal hierarchy. Then check whether the actual chosen tool supports the needed reference, composition or camera control. No tool-specific control or generated result was tested here. A useful later contribution would identify the tool/version, permitted reference, intended composition, observed result and mismatch; do not publish private briefs or unlicensed assets.\n","citations":[{"url":"https://github.com/timoncool/ACE-Step-Studio/releases/tag/v3.8.4","note":"Publisher-reported fixes in 3.8.4, released 2026-11-05.
