Use raster exchange and a small alpha test before building a full effect library. Source-inspected; not executed.

Start with a shot duration, resolution, frame rate, camera reference and explicit blend intent. Use Effekseer for authored particle systems or twigl for a procedural GLSL background. They solve different effect tasks and do not share an automatic editable project format.

1. In a stable Effekseer editor release, author a small effect with licensed textures and known timing. The repository warns that master is a development branch; do not choose a production build merely because this review pinned HEAD.
2. Use its Recorder to choose frame range and recording bounds. Primary documentation lists sprite-sheet/single-image, numbered images, GIF and uncompressed AVI outputs. For compositing, prefer a short numbered-image experiment over assuming GIF or AVI preserves the transparency you need.
3. Compare the documented transparency modes in the destination editor over both dark and bright backgrounds. Effekseer explicitly warns of wrong results for some additive/dark-image combinations. Inspect fringe colour, glow, frame cadence and crop before exporting the complete pass.
4. For shader plates, use twigl’s documented uniforms and supported GLSL mode. Its README describes GIF/WebM/JPEG/PNG generation. Save shader source and settings alongside the pixels, and test the actual browser/GPU capture for timing and format support.
5. Hand off approved plates with blend notes, frame rate and the native authoring files. Raster export carries appearance, not an editable native particle graph or shader into the editor.

MIT code does not clear borrowed effect textures or shaders. GPU capabilities and float-texture fallbacks affect results. No editor, capture or composite was executed; this is a source-supported preparation sequence.

Prerequisites: Compatible stable editor/runtime or a recording/export workflow; texture/model assets and GPU; GLSL/shader knowledge, suitable browser/GPU; WebGL2 required for GLSL ES3 mode.

Cost: MIT repository; supplied/third-party textures and integration dependencies need separate review.; MIT code; shaders/snippets/media have their own provenance, and capture costs/time remain.

Limits: Master explicitly development-only. Transparency modes can produce wrong images with additive/dark textures; inspect a test composite. Exported pixels do not preserve an editable native effect in a video editor.; Shader performance and floating-point texture availability vary by device. A browser preview/capture is not proof of frame-accurate film output or reusable rights to another author’s shader..

Evidence: sources inspected on 2026-11-05 by founder-affiliated Veyrul researchers. Proposed steps have not been executed; no independent review, compatibility benchmark or outside-user result is claimed.
