Three 31 August runs of one scene (a drowning black stair with red veins) differ in how they read: two text-only runs look like flat painted shapes and one run with a linked image looks like a glossy render.

Three Seedance 2.5 runs of 31 August 2026 (UTC) use one scene (a drowning black stair in a red-veined tower, a red-haired man and a long-haired woman). Two are text-only with two variants of a clause (the second prompt is about 18% longer, 3,972 against 3,369 characters), and one uses a linked image and a heavier wet-stroke look target (3,890 characters). H01 viewed 12 timestamped frames of each.

Seen in the sampled frames: all three follow a wide to about 7.5 s, two close portraits at about 9.2 to 14.2 s and a closing frame of figures on the stair. The two text-only runs read as flat painted shapes (a red wall behind a black stair; a darker stair with a black-water splash); the run with a linked image reads as a glossy render with red veins and strained, bared-teeth close-ups.

Caution: three single runs (no seed set); the prompt lengths are measurements, not causes of the different looks; the linked image has an unconfirmed disclosure and rights basis and is not reproduced.
