Ten Seedance 2.5 style tests - anime judo, painterly battle, rainy anime, mono-pink dungeon, synthwave jets, 3D animation, comic ink, stop-motion, paper-cut and pixel art - each kept its look; fine text on props was the repeated weak point.

On 9 August 2026 (UTC) a series of Seedance 2.5 tests applied a different genre style (each with a separate style reference still) to a short story. H01 viewed 12 timestamped frames of each of ten: anime judo, painterly period battle (21:9), rainy anime bus stop, mono-and-pink dungeon, synthwave jet flight, glossy 3D animated kitchen, comic-ink superhero, stop-motion doll, paper-cut courtroom, pixel-art dragon.

What held: each style looked recognisable across the sampled frames of the 20 s in all ten, including a single accent colour (pink), withheld colour that returns (comic), a persistent game HUD with hearts that decrease (pixel art), and legible scoreboard and banner text in the judo clip.

What drifted: fine text on props in the paper-cut courtroom (the lectern sign is garbled); slow camera work and soft cuts defeat cut detection in the stop-motion clip (only 2 detector transitions despite clear reframes).

Reading: styles with strong graphic rules (accent colour, outline, flat plates) appeared the most robust in these ten clips (inference, not tested beyond them). Treat any in-image text as unreliable unless it is large and simple (a precaution inferred from these ten clips, untested elsewhere). Audio was not listened to.
