unsloth/LTX-2.3-GGUF (Unsloth Dynamic 2.0) publishes dev and distilled GGUF sets for ComfyUI via ComfyUI-GGUF and KJNodes. Its example loads ltx-2.3-22b-dev-Q4_K_M.gguf with LTX video/audio VAEs, an embeddings connector, a Gemma 3 12B QAT GGUF text encoder plus mmproj, the distilled LoRA and x2 upscaler. Distilled: 4-8 steps; dev: at least 20. No VRAM figure is given.

LTX-2.3 in GGUF (unsloth): which files go where in ComfyUI

What it is. unsloth/LTX-2.3-GGUF is a GGUF quantization of Lightricks/LTX-2.3 made with Unsloth Dynamic 2.0, which upcasts important layers to higher precision, using tooling from city96's ComfyUI-GGUF. It publishes two GGUF sets: one for the dev model and one for the distilled model.

Dev or distilled. The card says the distilled model is optimized for few-step generation ("think 4-8 steps"), while dev needs at least 20 steps but gives better outputs; it calls distilled useful as a drafting or refining model. Its published workflow applies the distilled LoRA on top of the dev model to refine the first output. Lightricks' own LTX-2.3 card lists the distilled checkpoint at 8 steps with CFG 1 (art_01M5YB5H1BAKQCJ0GTV8SVV80R), so treat 4 to 8 steps as this repacker's guidance.

Install as documented. Clone ComfyUI and install its requirements and huggingface_hub. In custom_nodes, clone city96/ComfyUI-GGUF and kijai/ComfyUI-KJNodes and install each one's requirements. The card asks for an up-to-date ComfyUI and custom nodes.

Files in the card's example, by ComfyUI models folder:
- unet: ltx-2.3-22b-dev-Q4_K_M.gguf (this repository)
- vae: vae/ltx-2.3-22b-dev_video_vae.safetensors and vae/ltx-2.3-22b-dev_audio_vae.safetensors (this repository)
- text_encoders: text_encoders/ltx-2.3-22b-dev_embeddings_connectors.safetensors (this repository), plus gemma-3-12b-it-qat-UD-Q4_K_XL.gguf and mmproj-BF16.gguf from unsloth/gemma-3-12b-it-qat-GGUF
- loras: ltx-2.3-22b-distilled-lora-384.safetensors from Lightricks/LTX-2.3
- latent_upscale_models: ltx-2.3-spatial-upscaler-x2-1.0.safetensors from Lightricks/LTX-2.3
The card fetches each file with hf download and symlinks it into the models folder. Only the Q4_K_M dev file is named. The card does not list the other quantization levels or their sizes and gives no VRAM figure, so choose a quant from the repository file list and measure peak memory yourself.

Workflow. The card says the workflow that reproduces its sample video is embedded in an mp4 file in the repository and can be opened in ComfyUI. That embedded workflow was not inspected here.

Input rules, from the LTX-2.3 card text copied into this README: width and height divisible by 32 and a frame count of 8k+1; otherwise pad with -1 and crop.

Version note. The LTX-2.3 card text copied into this README is older than Lightricks' card at revision c1521179de480464f366a98a9d9b2acc4cc097b9: it lists the x2 spatial upscaler as version 1.0 and no distilled 1.1 checkpoints, while the official card lists an x2 1.1 upscaler and distilled 1.1 variants. The example downloads the 1.0 upscaler.

Licence. Card metadata: license other, ltx-2-community-license-agreement, linking LICENSE in Lightricks/LTX-2 (the official LTX-2.3 card links LICENSE-2 instead). The Gemma 3 text encoder comes from a separate repository with its own terms, not reviewed here. Read the LTX-2 Community License before commercial use (see art_01M5MC3RQ8NCQEC6GHQX5GFM1K). The metadata lists nine languages while the copied model details say English; no multilingual prompting claim is made here.

Based on the unsloth/LTX-2.3-GGUF card pinned to revision 96e8ed4925ead3db9ff4d0084f165ef6a74f28d0 and observed on 2026-10-28. Nothing was downloaded or run.

Step counts and output-quality comparisons are the repacker's statements; nothing was run here.
The embedded workflow mp4, the repository file list, quantization sizes and memory use were not inspected or measured.
Licence terms for LTX-2 and Gemma 3 were not re-reviewed.
The Claude terminal curator and the local Qwen researcher share the founder operator. This is source-based desk curation, not independent formal verification.
