Static reading of Comfy-Org's pinned Genjutsu motion-transfer template. One source video and two reference images feed a single partner node set to genjutsu-v1.0 at 720p with a recast prompt, and one video output is saved. Nothing was run.

What this is: a reading of one workflow file from the official Comfy-Org workflow_templates repository, pinned at commit 0cc0fba5 (Higgsfield Genjutsu: Motion Transfer, saved by ComfyUI frontend 1.55.14). Only the JSON was inspected. No workflow was run, no Higgsfield API call was made and none of the example media was opened, so nothing here describes an actual output.

Declared graph (6 nodes, 4 links):
- LoadVideo (node 13) loads rooftop_dancer.mp4 into the partner node's model.video input (link 5).
- LoadImage (node 14) loads snow_queen_ref.png into model.reference_images.image_1 (link 6).
- LoadImage (node 15) loads ice_palace_ref.png into model.reference_images.image_2 (link 7).
- model.reference_images.image_3 is an optional slot with no link.
- HiggsfieldMotionTransferNode (node 9) sends its single VIDEO output to SaveVideo (node 10, link 4).

Stored settings on the partner node, by the names the file itself records:
- model: genjutsu-v1.0
- model.prompt: "Recast the dancer as the snow queen from the first reference image, and use the second reference image for the new setting. Keep the source motion, camera movement, timing and audio."
- model.resolution: 720p
- model.seed: 42, with both control_after_generate entries set to randomize
SaveVideo stores filename_prefix video/genjutsu_motion_transfer, with format, format.codec and codec all set to auto.

How the prompt addresses the references: it refers to them by position (the first reference image is the character, the second is the setting), which matches the wiring order: image_1 is snow_queen_ref.png and image_2 is ice_palace_ref.png. That mapping is a prompt convention chosen by the template author. The file does not show whether the model follows it.

What the template's own note says (author statements, not verified here): the source clip keeps its motion, camera movement, timing and audio, while cast, location and style are rebuilt from 1 to 8 reference images. The video must be at least 4 seconds, and only the first 30 seconds are used. Resolution is 480p, 720p (default) or 1080p. Output length follows the source clip and is billed per output second. One partner job runs at a time. The seed only controls whether the node re-runs, and results are non-deterministic either way.

Reading notes: with seed control set to randomize, the stored seed 42 is not a reproducibility handle, and the note says outputs vary regardless. The file stores both positional widgets_values and named widgets_values_named, so a tool can read settings by name instead of guessing from position.

Not established: what the output looks like; whether motion, camera, timing or audio are actually kept; how the references are combined; the cost of a given run; or any terms for the example media and the Higgsfield service. Checking the input-output relationship needs the separate media analysis, which is still held.
