Source-inspected static analysis of video_ltx2_5_flf2v.json at Comfy commit 0cc0fba: two chained first/last image guides, linked resize and 121-frame arithmetic, prompt-enhancement default off, and one-stage audiovisual sampling. Guide semantics, endpoint accuracy, character retention and runtime behavior remain unverified; no generation was run.

The pinned official video_ltx2_5_flf2v.json connects a first image and a last image to two chained LTXVAddGuide nodes, then generates audiovisual video through one sampler. It provides a concrete graph to inspect for a transition between approved keyframes. This is source inspection and static inference: no import or generation was run, and endpoint accuracy, character retention, output geometry, memory and speed remain unmeasured.

This analysis applies to Comfy-Org/workflow_templates commit 0cc0fba562efe9f68e48050c2b82ed6495050bc2, templates/video_ltx2_5_flf2v.json, SHA-256 d8107deef9a9b005a3eff41e12520225a344b65381d74686ac22dc4e65d19c21. The exact graph contains 7 outer nodes and 39 nodes in one subgraph, with 78 explicit links in total. All link endpoints and reciprocal input/output references checked consistently. Those checks establish the saved graph's structure; they do not establish runtime compatibility.

Replace the images in Load First Frame (outer node 31) and Load Last Frame (39) with your approved start and end images. Their IMAGE outputs enter subgraph instance 251 through separate first_frame and last_frame inputs; loader MASK outputs are unused. The default filenames refer to robot-hand examples; those files were not acquired or inspected here. As a production choice, compare the two approved images for the identity and appearance you want before generating a transition; this graph review provides no evidence that it repairs incompatible keyframes.

Inside the subgraph, the first image passes through resize 213 and preprocess 199 to guide 206. The last passes through resize 214 and preprocess 195 to guide 204. Text conditioning and the empty video latent enter guide 206 first; its positive conditioning, negative conditioning and latent outputs all feed guide 204. The resulting conditioning feeds the CFG guider, while its video latent joins the audio latent before sampling. Both guide nodes use the same video VAE. Their attention-mask and IC-LoRA parameter inputs are unconnected.

The first guide saves numeric controls [0, 0.7], and the last saves [-1, 0.7]. These are consistent with guide positions 0/-1 and strength 0.7 in this first/last-frame template; that interpretation is inferred from serialized values and the template role, rather than confirmed against the node parameter schema. Preserve the distinction between those saved controls and measured endpoint behavior. The node implementation was not inspected, so negative-index conversion, latent-frame placement, strength interpretation and reconstruction accuracy are not verified here. In particular, a -1 guide and strength 0.7 do not establish a byte-identical final image or reliable identity throughout the intervening motion. Each preprocess node also saves 18; its transformation was not executed or checked against implementation.

The connected width and height controls feed both resizers. The outer instance requests 1280 by 720. Each resizer saves scale-dimensions mode, center and nearest-exact, but its local 640 by 360 values are superseded by the linked controls. GetImageSize 203 reads the first resized image and supplies the empty video latent's width and height, superseding its saved 768 by 512. Thus the first resize output determines latent dimensions. This graph has no ResolutionSelector or latent upscaler. Actual resizing, aspect handling and model-compatible output geometry require checking the imported nodes and generated output; do not infer them from the requested dimensions alone.

Duration and frame rate are also linked controls. Outer duration 5 feeds primitive 198; frame rate 24 feeds primitive 205. Math node 226 evaluates a * b + 1, and its INT output supplies both the video latent length and the audio latent frame count. These saved outer values give 121 by arithmetic, superseding the two latent nodes' saved 97. Frame rate also reaches audio-latent creation, video conditioning and CreateVideo. This is a requested frame-count calculation, not an observed 121-frame result. The embedded note advertises Auto Duration, but no predicted-duration output drives this graph's frame calculation.

The outer prompt reaches primitive 252, then both the raw-prompt branch and the prompt enhancer's prompt input. The enhancer also receives the preprocessed FIRST image; no last-image link enters it. Switch 248 selects raw text on_false or generated text on_true, and its output goes to positive text encoding and a text preview. Outer prompt_enhance is false and reaches the switch through linked primitive 250, overriding that primitive's saved true. The positive encoder's empty local text is also linked over. The negative encoder retains a long saved example prompt containing human, clothing, dialogue and scene details; review it when adapting the template rather than treating it as a universal character-transition prompt. Its effect was not measured.

The source calls the enhancer optional, but switching it off does not by itself prove that a particular ComfyUI runtime can resolve the graph without its model file. Lazy execution and file-resolution behavior were not tested. The embedded notes also disagree on the enhancer size: approximately 10 GB in one note versus 4.84 GB in the model-links note. Neither value establishes runtime VRAM use or measured load time.

Sampling uses one SamplerCustomAdvanced node, a SamplerEulerAncestral node with saved [0, 1], and a LTXVDualCFGGuider with saved [1, 1]. The manual sigma list is 1.0, 0.99375, 0.9875, 0.98125, 0.975, 0.909375, 0.725, 0.421875, 0.0: nine entries and eight intervals. No executed step count or quality claim follows from that list. The sampler's denoised_output is split into video and audio. Video passes through LTXVCropGuides and tiled VAE decoding; audio is decoded separately. CreateVideo combines them and supplies outer SaveVideo. The crop stage's implementation and exact effect on endpoints were not tested. This is a different graph from the two-stage LTX-2.5 I2V template; do not copy that template's upscaler or second-stage schedule into this description.

The ordered subgraph input definitions and outer saved widgets correspond to seed 873293130933086, while the linked inner RandomNoise node saves a different seed and randomize. The outer socket list omits some definition inputs, including seed, although they remain in saved widgets and boundary links. Inspect the imported controls and seed policy before relying on repeatability; neither successful import nor repeated output was tested.

The saved components are ltx-2.5-22b-distilled-transformer-comfy-int8-convrot.safetensors, ltx-2.5-video-vae-bf16.safetensors, ltx-2.5-audio-vae-bf16.safetensors, and gemma4-12b-with-proj-ltx-2.5-comfy-int8-convrot.safetensors, plus gemma4_e2b_it_int8_convrot.safetensors for the enhancer path. The graph's model links use resolve/main URLs; this pins workflow bytes, not immutable weight revisions. Saved node/frontend version strings do not establish minimum support. Separate model licenses, access gates, linked media terms and installation requirements were not verified. The complete same-commit MIT repository license and notices are retained; that license does not clear every dependency or output use.

For a character transition, treat this as a source-defined way to supply two image guides and a transition prompt. Inspect the imported guide controls, dimensions, frame calculation, negative prompt and enhancement branch, then evaluate generated endpoints and intermediate identity under a separately authorized test. The embedded notes' claims about character continuity, multishot behavior, synchronized audio and generation time remain source claims. No character-retention guarantee, exact endpoint guarantee, 12 GB fit or reproduced production result is established by this review.
