# MiniMax-H3 x Z-Image hybrid: FL2VA blocks with REF2VA blocks 25-49 in one model (BF16, INT8, GGUF)

One H3 model mixing branches by block: B00-B24 FL2VA, B25-B49 REF2VA, B50+ FL2VA, all from the ZS05 (Z-Image-grafted) BF16 models. minimax_h3_hybrid_fl2va_ref2va_zs05_b25-49_bf16.safetensors (37.46 GiB), an INT8 version with the same layout, and GGUF in a separate repo. 532/532 tensors verified as exact source copies. Experimental, unofficial; usage follows the native graft repository.

This is an experimental hybrid of MiniMax-H3 built from the Z-Image-grafted (ZS05) models of joeygambino/MiniMax-H3-x-Z-Image-native. Instead of separate FL2VA and REF2VA files, one model uses FL2VA for transformer blocks 0-24 and 50 onward and REF2VA for blocks 25-49, so only the middle blocks come from the reference-to-video branch.

Files: minimax_h3_hybrid_fl2va_ref2va_zs05_b25-49_bf16.safetensors (about 37.46 GiB), assembled at the raw safetensors payload level with no tensor conversion; an INT8 version with the same layout; and a GGUF conversion for GGUF-capable ComfyUI loaders in hoidhxd/MiniMax-H3-x-Z-Image-hybrid-GGUF. The author verified the BF16 file at tensor level: 532 tensors, all matching their expected source, with dtype, shape, payload size and payload hashes passing and blocks 25-49 byte-exact copies from REF2VA.

Use: the card gives no settings and points to the native graft repository for structure, configuration and usage (see the MiniMax-H3 x Z-Image graft record). A related community file set uses a similar fl2va/ref2va hybrid with blocks 20-49. Licence on the card: Apache-2.0; MiniMax-H3's own terms still apply. It is not an official MiniMax release.
