xinsir ControlNet++ union SDXL: one ControlNet for openpose, depth, canny, lineart, anime lineart, MLSD, scribble, HED, PiDi/softedge, TEED, segment and normal, with learned multi-condition fusion. ProMax file (promax suffix) adds tile deblur/variation/super-res, inpainting, outpainting. Apache-2.0.

ControlNet++ by xinsir is an all-in-one ControlNet for SDXL. Instead of one network per control type, it extends the original ControlNet so a single set of parameters accepts different condition images, and multiple conditions share one condition encoder, so combining them adds no parameters or computation. The author reports no obvious quality drop on any single condition compared with separate training.

Control types shown in the card: openpose, depth, canny, lineart, anime lineart, MLSD, scribble, HED, PiDi (softedge), TEED, segment and normal. Multi-condition examples pair openpose with canny, depth, scribble, normal or segment. Condition fusion is learned during training, so combining conditions needs no extra hyperparameters or prompt design.

ProMax: the same Hugging Face repository holds a ProMax checkpoint with a promax suffix, which adds five editing modes: tile deblur, tile variation, tile super-resolution (shown from about 1M to 9M pixels), image inpainting and image outpainting. At this revision the card says detailed instructions will be added later; inference scripts are in github.com/xinsir6/ControlNetPlus.

Compatibility and training (author-reported): works with other open SDXL checkpoints such as BluePencilXL and CounterfeitXL and with LoRA models; trained with NovelAI-style bucketing for any aspect ratio on over 10 million images re-captioned with CogVLM. The author paused SD3 training for lack of GPU resources.
