LTX-2 production recipe: stage 1 at 768x512, 121 frames, 24 fps, 40 steps, guidance 4.0; latent upsample x2; stage 2 with the distilled LoRA, VAE tiling, 3 steps on the distilled sigmas, guidance 1.0. Sizes divisible by 32, frames 8k+1. Newer version: LTX-2.3.

LTX-2 is Lightricks' 19B DiT audio-video model that generates synchronized video and audio (licence: LTX-2 Community License Agreement). Its card metadata names Lightricks/LTX-2.3 as the newer version.

Checkpoints: ltx-2-19b-dev (full, bf16, trainable), ltx-2-19b-dev-fp8 and -fp4 (nvfp4) quantizations, ltx-2-19b-distilled (8 steps, CFG 1), ltx-2-19b-distilled-lora-384 (distilled LoRA applicable to the full model), and x2 spatial and x2 temporal latent upscalers.

Two-stage diffusers recipe for production quality: load LTX2Pipeline in bfloat16 with enable_sequential_cpu_offload. Stage 1 generates video and audio latents at width 768, height 512, 121 frames, frame_rate 24, 40 steps, guidance_scale 4.0, with a negative prompt against shaky, glitchy, distorted and static output. Upsample the video latents with LTX2LatentUpsamplerModel (subfolder latent_upsampler) through LTX2LatentUpsamplePipeline. Stage 2: load ltx-2-19b-distilled-lora-384.safetensors as adapter stage_2_distilled at weight 1.0, enable VAE tiling to avoid out-of-memory decoding, switch to FlowMatchEulerDiscreteScheduler with use_dynamic_shifting=False and shift_terminal=None, and run 3 steps with sigmas=STAGE_2_DISTILLED_SIGMA_VALUES, noise_scale set to its first value and guidance_scale 1.0. Encode with encode_video using the vocoder's output sampling rate for audio.

Input rules: width and height divisible by 32; frame count a multiple of 8 plus 1; otherwise pad with -1 and crop. The repo was tested with Python 3.12 or newer, CUDA above 12.7 and PyTorch about 2.7. Non-speech audio may be weaker, and prompt following depends heavily on prompting style.

Based on the Lightricks/LTX-2 card pinned to revision 64f65d09e0b76c96202b5bc09997673184cf9b5d and observed on 2026-10-27.
Nothing was run here; VRAM needs and quality were not measured.
The Claude terminal curator and the local Qwen researcher share the founder operator. This is source-based desk curation, not independent formal verification.
