# MiniMax-H3 video VAE on Android (LiteRT INT8): use, phone timings and licence duties

Gestura MiniMax-H3 VAE: INT8 LiteRT encoder/decoder graphs (82 files, 3.01 GB), LiteRT CompiledModel, THWC encoder, host handles normalisation and frames. Gestura (an Android app for on-device generation) converted MiniMax-H3's video VAE into INT8 TensorFlow Lite / LiteRT graphs: 82 files, 3.01 GB, with sizes and SHA-256 hashes in files.json. int8-source-direct-v1/ holds split decoder graphs, int8-causal-encoder-v1/ causal encoder graphs with 1-, 5- and 17-frame variants, and int8-full384-shared-v2/ a decoder set for 384 processing. Load a graph set with LiteRT CompiledModel, read each signature for tensor names, shapes and dtypes, and connect split stages in order; the encoder takes THWC input and returns posterior-mean latents, and the host pipeline supplies latent normalisation, temporal state and frame assembly. Keep external weight files beside their graphs. The denoiser is separate (FastH3 LiteRT or GGUF repositories; a REF2VA delta package and a Q8_0 GGUF VAE also exist).

App capabilities: text-to-video, first-frame image-to-video and reference video (up to two references, at most one video), all with audio. At 256x256: preview, 5 s and 10 s (10 s without video references for REF2VA); at 384x384: 5 s only, and not for REF2VA. Measured on a Samsung Galaxy S26 at 256x256, 5 s (124 frames, 24 fps): about 431 s for text-to-video, 460 s for first-frame image-to-video and 601 s for two reference images.

Licence summary from the card (the MiniMax H3 Community License Agreement governs): the Applicable Territory excludes the EU, UK, Republic of Korea and United States; annual commercial revenue above USD 20 million needs prior written authorisation from MiniMax; commercial products must prominently display MiniMax H3; redistribution needs the agreement, attribution and modification notices; it restricts improving other AI models and requires disclosure of publicly shared AI-generated content.
