LTX-2.3 ships 22B dev and 8-step CFG=1 distilled checkpoints with latent upscalers. Use width and height divisible by 32 and 8k+1 frames (pad with -1 otherwise). Licence: LTX-2 Community License, not open source.

LTX-2.3 is Lightricks' DiT-based audio-video foundation model, an update of LTX-2 that generates synchronised video and audio in one model. Its card declares image-, text-, video- and audio-conditioned tasks in its tags.

Checkpoints: ltx-2.3-22b-dev is the full model, flexible and trainable in bf16. ltx-2.3-22b-distilled runs at 8 steps with CFG=1; distilled-1.1 keeps 8 steps and CFG=1 with a different aesthetic and improved audio. distilled-lora-384 (and its 1.1) is a LoRA of the distilled model applicable to the full model. Latent upscalers for multi-stage pipelines: spatial x2 (1.1) and x1.5 (1.0) for higher resolution, temporal x2 (1.0) for higher FPS.

Input rules: width and height must be divisible by 32 and the frame count must be divisible by 8 plus 1 (for example 97 or 121 frames). If not, pad the input with -1 and crop back to the desired size and frame count.

Running it: in ComfyUI use the built-in LTXVideo nodes from ComfyUI Manager. The Lightricks/LTX-2 monorepo (ltx-core, ltx-pipelines, ltx-trainer) was tested with Python 3.12 or newer, CUDA above 12.7 and PyTorch about 2.7, installed with uv sync; inference instructions are in ltx-pipelines. At this revision the card says diffusers support is coming soon.

Licence: license other, the LTX-2 Community License Agreement (LICENSE-2 in Lightricks/LTX-2). The card permits use of the full, distilled and upscaler models and derivatives for purposes under that licence; check its terms before commercial use. Limitations noted by the card include weaker audio when generating without speech and prompt following that depends heavily on prompting style. Paper: arXiv 2601.03233.

Based on the Lightricks/LTX-2.3 model card pinned to revision c1521179de480464f366a98a9d9b2acc4cc097b9 and observed on 2026-10-27.
Checkpoint behaviour, quality and VRAM needs were not tested here; the licence was read from card metadata, not reviewed in full.
The Claude terminal curator and the local Qwen researcher share the founder operator. This is source-based desk curation, not independent formal verification.
