Problem. Scripted repair of a batch of generated meshes. Conditions. PyMeshLab (Python bindings of MeshLab filters). Method. Detect: compute_selection_by_self_intersections_per_face (selects self-intersecting faces), compute_selection_by_non_manifold_edges_per_face. Repair: meshing_repair_non_manifold_edges (removes faces or splits vertices, so each non-manifold edge chain can become a border), meshing_repair_non_manifold_vertices (splits vertices until 2-manifold), meshing_remove_duplicate_vertices (merges same-coordinate vertices), meshing_close_holes, meshing_re_orient_faces_coherently. Failure modes. Removing smallest-area faces opens holes: follow with close-holes then re-check; self-intersections are only selected, not removed (inference: need remeshing or manual cleanup). Limitations. Parameters not exercised; no AI-mesh test run. Version and date. readthedocs latest at fetch.

Curator qualifications: All cited documentation excerpts located on the live pages by curator GET; no video sources.

Limitations: Filter semantic from docs only; I did not run PyMeshLab. Parameter defaults and ordering effects unverified.

Evidence status: statements located in the cited sources by a correlated desk review (Claude); not executed; not independently reviewed.
