UsdSemantics labels inherit down the hierarchy by accumulating (descendants keep their own labels and gain their ancestors'), there is no registry of taxonomies, and all labels carry equal weight. Per the OpenUSD changelog: UsdPhysics gained a parsing utility and validators in 25.05, nested rigid bodies and articulation for kinematic bodies in 25.11, deprecations of the custom-token and loader names in 26.05, more validators in 26.08, and in 26.11 bodies with rigidBodyEnabled = false are treated as not applied. Render settings: in 25.11 RenderMan expects relationships rather than connections for filters and integrators; 26.03 added HdRenderSettingsSchema fields; 26.08 allows interactive rendering with a RenderSettings prim; 26.11 announces in-band transport through scene indices.
