Across nine primary papers (HTML bodies, before reference lists) no text contains the words relight, albedo, BRDF or virtual production; lighting appears only as scene variation to be fitted (Real-time 4DGS) or as an uncharacterised factor (DyCheck). Gaussian colour is stored as spherical-harmonic coefficients, so appearance is baked and view-dependent; relighting is therefore not a documented capability of these systems. Editing is demonstrated for rig-captured persistent Gaussians (edit propagation, object insertion, camera attachment) and described as naive transformation in 4D-GS. Topology: persistent Gaussians give point correspondence over time, DG4D gives a per-frame obj mesh sequence, and no read source reports a stable mesh topology. Render speed is high for small scenes on a consumer GPU (author-reported tens to hundreds of FPS) but is tied to Gaussian count, resolution and deformation network size; clips are seconds long and scale to large scenes is a stated limit. Curator qualifications: Excerpted evidence located; no relighting/BRDF/virtual-production text in the nine papers (bounded negative).

Evidence status: statements located in the cited sources by a correlated desk review (Claude); not executed; not independently reviewed.
