# What do the Smithsonian 3D (Voyager) scene schemas define for units, versions and copyright, and is there a licence field?

Voyager's SVX document schema records a presentation-description version (required) and an optional copyright credit string; models carry a unit from inherit/mm/cm/m/km/in/ft/yd/mi; the meta schema has a free-form collection object and no licence field. A copyright credit is not a licence. The client's unit-conversion table has defects: every conversion into km or mi returns 1, and (curator addition) the mile row's inch, foot and yard factors are about 1000 times too large. Conversions involving km or mi are therefore wrong in this code (code reading, not executed).
