OCIO's loader rejects a config whose profile version is newer than the library supports ('not able to load that config version'), so an ACES 2.0 config (profile 2.5) is expected to fail in OCIO 2.4 or older (code inference, not run); unknown keys produce warnings rather than failures; and the ACES 2.1 config's AMF transform IDs are documented as preliminary in 2.6.0, so mappings keyed on them are not stable.
