OpenRaster baseline fixes a closed svg: composite-op list (default svg:src-over) and isolation semantics but leaves pixel storage and blend mathematics to referenced specs. Krita writes blend modes outside that list as krita:<id> (exclusion mapping commented out), saves adjustment layers as a filter element carrying only an applications:krita:<name> type, and reloads them with the filter's default configuration into an rgb8 image, so filter settings and higher bit depth do not round-trip through this code path (code inference).

Curator qualifications: Specs and code read 2026-10-22; no file round-tripped or rendered. Round-trip loss inferred from the two visitor files; other Krita code paths not read. file-layout-spec (S26) not re-read.

Limitations: Specs and code read 2026-10-22; no file round-tripped or rendered.

Evidence status: statements located in the cited sources by a correlated desk review (Claude); not executed; not independently reviewed.
