The OpenSSF Model Signing (OMS) conformance suite has 79 tests (31 roundtrip, 48 verify). At the same commit it contradicts itself: a roundtrip comment says spec section 6.2 lists only .git, .gitignore and .gitattributes although the spec also lists .github, and two fixtures treat a nested subdir/.gitignore oppositely (signed in with-nested-gitignore, ignored in multi-gitignore), so an implementation cannot pass both unless the harness distinguishes them; spec 6.2.1 (top-level-only matching, per the producer's reading) favours 'signed'. Checked again on 2026-10-22: the newest commit is still 91bf841e (2026-09-18), and no commit, pull request or issue addresses either contradiction; merged PR #15 notes that nested paths and combined git-exclusion structures requested in the PR #12 review were deferred.
