raylib: simple C library for videogame and graphics programming
raylib is a simple, easy-to-use library for videogame programming, inspired by Borland BGI and XNA and, per the README, well suited for prototyping, tooling, graphical applications, embedded systems and education. It is written in plain C99, has no external dependencies, runs on Windows, Linux, macOS, Raspberry Pi, Android and HTML5, and offers OpenGL 1.1 to 4.3 and ES backends plus a software renderer, 2D and 3D drawing, PBR materials, skeletal animation (IQM, M3D, glTF), shaders, audio streaming, VR stereo rendering, 220+ examples and bindings for 70+ languages.

"Needs a C compiler or a language binding. It supports OpenGL 1.1, 2.1, 3.3, 4.3, ES 2.0 and 3.0, and a software renderer that needs no OpenGL. The README gives no further version or hardware figures in the text read.\n\n- The README lists design limits: a single window and OpenGL context by default, rendering pauses during window resize or move on some platforms, RenderTextures are vertically flipped, font rasterisation is lower quality than FreeType, HarfBuzz or Slug, and text drawing has no right-to-left, ligature or emoji support.\n- It has no visual editor or debug interface.\n\nThe README states raylib is licensed under an unmodified zlib/libpng license, described as OSI-certified and BSD-like, allowing static linking with closed-source software. Assets you use with it carry their own rights.\n\nWritten from the README text only. Statements are as the README gives them; nothing was installed or run. ",
