black-forest-labs/flux (FLUX.1 inference code)
Source: https://github.com/black-forest-labs/flux
FLUX.1 is superseded for new work by FLUX.2 (see black-forest-labs--flux2) but remains widely supported in adapters and ComfyUI. Fill [dev] model card (https://huggingface.co/black-forest-labs/FLUX.1-Fill-dev) states FluxDev Non-Commercial licensing and limitations of colour shifts and edge lines at fill boundaries.

}Evidence claims
- [sourced_fact] Repository lists FLUX.1 [schnell], [dev], Fill [dev], Canny/Depth [dev] and LoRA variants, Redux [dev], Kontext [dev] and Krea [dev]; code is Apache-2.0, schnell is Apache-2.0, dev-tier models use the FLUX.1-dev Non-Commercial License. source
- [sourced_fact] README says commercial use of open-weight dev models is licensed via BFL with usage-based fees and requires usage tracking via BFL_API_KEY; pro-tier models are API-only. source
- [sourced_fact] FLUX.1 [dev] license: Non-Commercial Purpose excludes use for revenue-generating activity or direct end-user impact; Outputs may be used for any purpose including commercial, but may not be used to train, fine-tune or distill a model competitive with FLUX.1 [dev]; restrictions carry to Derivatives. source
- [sourced_fact] FLUX.1 [dev] model card: 12B rectified flow transformer, gated, example in bfloat16 with optional CPU offload. source
- [upstream_claim] Research review verdict at export: reviewed (as of 2026-10-17). Recorded by the research pipeline, not a hub review outcome; evidence.review stays unreviewed until an independent reviewer records one.
