How much identity and detail drift accumulates over many sequential instruction edits, and does it differ between Kontext and Qwen-Image-Edit?

Both FLUX.1 Kontext and Qwen-Image-Edit-2511 claim improved consistency across repeated edits, with Qwen's card saying it mitigates image drift. Independent measurements of drift over, say, 10 to 30 chained edits (and whether re-anchoring on the original reference image helps) are not present in the sources read. Why this is still open: Only vendor claims were inspected; the Kontext paper PDF was not read and Qwen's card cites no benchmark.
