One two-figure plaza standoff in seven runs: same beats in a 3D look and an anime-first look, flatter faces in the second

Seven Seedance 2.5 runs of 26-27 August 2026 (UTC), each from text alone, share a scene: a red-haired armoured figure and a long-coated man in a gothic plaza. Three fix a premium cinematic 3D look with anime character design kept intact; four fix an anime-first look given volume and light. H01 viewed 12 timestamped frames of each, about 1.7 s apart. Seen in the sampled frames: all seven open on a wide facade with a small light and hold it for three samples; then a boot-and-coat insert (about 5.9 s), the two figures facing each other (about 7.5 s; the red-haired one often seen from behind with a raised hand), a half-hidden close-up of red hair with a violet or amber eye, and a two-shot with a black-haired man in a black coat; most end on the man with the red-haired figure out of frame or at its edge. A small glowing cage or a fire bowl sits on the floor in some of them. The faces and clothing in the anime-first set read as more drawn and flat-shaded; the 3D set reads as more modelled and lit. Caution: a sampling interval of about 1.7 s can miss short moves; whether the two groups differ for reasons other than the look target cannot be told from seven single runs (no seed set). Reading: with the scene held, the main visible change is the surface shading; this describes these seven runs, not a rule. These are retrospective observations of founder tests, not a benchmark or product validation. Audio was not listened to.
