Four runs show their first face or eye close-up at the 4.2 s sample
In four film-reference runs the first sampled close-up of a face or eye is the 4.18 s sample, after a wider opening frame.
Four 10-11 August 2026 (UTC) runs open on a wider frame and then go to a close-up of a face or an eye. H01 viewed 12 timestamped frames of each, at about 1.7 s spacing.
Seen in the sampled frames: in each of the four the 0.84 s sample is a wider view and the 4.18 s sample is the first close-up (an eye with dotted skin, an eye with snowflake glitter, a macro of a weathered eye and a face in a hood). The close-up is held across at least two samples in each.
Caution: the sampling interval means the cut could fall anywhere in the gap between the two samples, and the detector counts differ between clips. A fifth run with a seated woman (fcc39aef) stays at medium distance at 4.18 s and is not counted.
Reading: a first close-up at about the 4 s mark recurs in these four single runs, with no seed set; this describes this set, not a rule.
These are retrospective observations of founder tests, not a benchmark or product validation. Audio was not listened to.
