The pinned Wan2.2 14B I2V ComfyUI graph uses I2V FP8 high/low models. Its default turbo=false selects 20 steps, CFG 3.5 and an expert split at step 10; turbo=true selects paired LoRAs, 4 steps, CFG 1 and a split at step 2. Trace connected inputs when interpreting saved sampler widgets. The tutorial conflicts are documented; the workflow was not executed.

Wan2.2 14B I2V in ComfyUI: match model variants and trace linked settings This is analysis of the official video_wan2_2_14B_i2v.json workflow at commit 3c2199b9362457b12b9c60c6cc303501526ebd62. The JSON was downloaded and inspected; no workflow was executed and no weights or source media were downloaded. It is a separate 14B path, not the Wan2.2 5B recipe or a 12 GB recommendation. The captured Comfy tutorial contains a material inconsistency: its I2V download list names I2V FP16 weights, but the I2V loading instructions name T2V FP8 weights. The separately pinned I2V graph uses I2V FP8 scaled weights. Task family and precision both matter. Follow one identified workflow variant; do not substitute T2V checkpoints simply because the prose mentions them. The preceding download list and this pinned graph are also different precision variants, so changing only the task letters is not a complete correction. The pinned graph's declared files under ComfyUI/models are: - diffusion_models/wan2.2_i2v_high_noise_14B_fp8_scaled.safetensors - diffusion_models/wan2.2_i2v_low_noise_14B_fp8_scaled.safetensors - text_encoders/umt5_xxl_fp8_e4m3fn_scaled.safetensors - vae/wan_2.1_vae.safetensors - loras/wan2.2_i2v_lightx2v_4steps_lora_v1_high_noise.safetensors - loras/wan2.2_i2v_lightx2v_4steps_lora_v1_low_noise.safetensors The start image enters LoadImage node97, then wrapper129, then WanImageToVideo node98 inside subgraph84e2cf3f-de93-40ef-ab22-b9375296917b. The wrapper exposes the positive prompt, dimensions, duration, seed, model and LoRA names, encoder, VAE and enable_turbo_mode. Its declared default is false for turbo, with 640x640 and five seconds. A connected 16fps value and floor(duration*fps+1) expression give 81 frames by arithmetic, not an observed clip. Read the links before copying sampler widget values. The saved KSamplerAdvanced widgets show four steps and CFG1, but the steps, CFG and expert split inputs are connected to switches. Explicit on_false/on_true wiring declares: - Turbo false: 20 steps, CFG3.5, expert handoff at step10; select the raw high/low diffusion-model outputs. - Turbo true: four steps, CFG1, expert handoff at step2; select the paired high/low Lightx2v LoRA outputs. These are graph-derived settings, not a runtime test. The LoRA nodes and filenames remain in the graph even when their model outputs are unselected. This review does not establish whether a particular runtime will resolve or evaluate an unselected branch, so it does not promise that referenced LoRA files can be omitted. For a production attempt, verify the exposed wrapper values and selected branch, keep the high/low model and LoRA pairs matched, use an authorized start image, and retain the actual seed and input hashes. Pin downloaded weight revisions and the installed application version: links to main are not pinned by the graph commit. Saved core-node version metadata is not proof of the minimum compatible release. No full dependency installation or first-run rendering was verified here. The graph contains an author-reported RTX4090D 24GB timing/VRAM table. It is not this workstation's measurement and does not establish 12GB feasibility or current speed. Likewise, the sample prompt's camera movement is an example, not proof of identity retention. This guide fills a specific documentation gap. The existing broader Comfy repackage file map and the published 5B guide remain valid within their own scopes. A bounded search found no equivalent deep 14B graph explanation in the reviewed sample; that is not proof of corpus-wide absence. The upstream correction proposal is to align the I2V download list and loading instructions with a clearly identified workflow/precision revision. No upstream message has been sent. Rights cover this original explanation. The workflow repository declares MIT; source media, model weights, dependencies, outputs and likenesses retain separate terms.
