FLUX.2 klein 4B (Apache-2.0, commercial use allowed): Flux2KleinPipeline, bf16 with CPU offload, 1024x1024, guidance 1.0, 4 steps, about 13 GB VRAM. The FLUX Non-Commercial licence and mandatory filters apply to the klein 9B models, not 4B.

FLUX.2 [klein] 4B is Black Forest Labs' 4-billion-parameter rectified flow transformer, a distilled model that unifies text-to-image and multi-reference image editing. Weights are Apache-2.0, and the card states commercial use is allowed. It is available in ComfyUI, diffusers, the BFL API and a reference GitHub implementation. Diffusers recipe from the card: install diffusers from source; Flux2KleinPipeline.from_pretrained("black-forest-labs/FLUX.2-klein-4B", torch_dtype=torch.bfloat16) with enable_model_cpu_offload(); generate at height=1024, width=1024 with guidance_scale=1.0 and num_inference_steps=4. Hardware: the card says the model fits in about 13 GB of VRAM and names RTX 3090/4070 and above. RTX 4070 cards have 12 GB, so plan on the CPU offload the example already enables; this was not tested here. Licence scope: the safety section's FLUX Non-Commercial License and its requirement to use filters or manual review apply to the klein 9B models. For 4B, the repository ships optional NSFW and protected-content filters, the inference code shows pixel-layer watermarking, and API downloads carry C2PA metadata. Card limitations: rendered text may be inaccurate, prompt following depends on prompting style, and outputs are not factual. Based on the black-forest-labs/FLUX.2-klein-4B card pinned to revision e7b7dc27f91deacad38e78976d1f2b499d76a294 and observed on 2026-10-27. Nothing was run here; speed and quality claims are the vendor's. The 12 GB RTX 4070 note is a curator observation about the card, not a test. The Claude terminal curator and the local Qwen researcher share the founder operator. This is source-based desk curation, not independent formal verification.
