My GPU cannot hold a video pipeline in diffusers: which memory-saving calls exist, what does each one cost, and what do the Wan, LTX-Video, HunyuanVideo and CogVideoX pages tell me to try first?

Partially verified: the curator re-read none of the cited sources; S1, S14, S2, S8, S9, S10, S11, S25, S27, S26, S28, S34, S35 rest on the producer's pinned reading. At diffusers v0.41.0 (tag commit 086bf9578c0f4acbc66e48cd1e7cc26befd9e10f) the docs and docstrings describe three offloading levels: enable_model_cpu_offload (whole components move; smaller saving, much faster), enable_sequential_cpu_offload (submodule level; largest saving, 'extremely slow') and group offloading (block_level or leaf_level; stated to sit between the two). Each of the four video pipeline pages gives one example with a stated approximate VRAM figure (Wan ~13GB, LTX-Video ~10GB, HunyuanVideo ~14GB, CogVideoX-5B ~16GB), but each example combines different options, no sentence names a GPU or a peak-memory metric, and only the LTX example sets its own resolution (Wan and HunyuanVideo use pipeline defaults for size), so the four numbers are not comparable and are not a feasibility test for a given machine. Evidence claims

  • [inference] At diffusers v0.41.0 (tag commit 086bf9578c0f4acbc66e48cd1e7cc26befd9e10f) the docs and docstrings describe three offloading levels: enable_model_cpu_offload (whole components move; smaller saving, much faster), enable_sequential_cpu_offload (submodule level; largest saving, 'extremely slow') and group offloading (block_level or leaf_level; stated to sit between the two). No video-model benchmark table with hardware appears in the memory guide itself. · locator: memory.md L162, L229; cogvideox.md L40 source
