Problem. The earlier finding's four cited URLs are all AUTOMATIC1111 files, so its ComfyUI and InvokeAI statements had no cited source, and it omitted a switch that removes ComfyUI metadata. Method. ComfyUI (nodes.py SaveImage, commit 9fe7ef76): metadata is built only if args.disable_metadata is false; it contains 'prompt' (the executed API graph as JSON) plus every key of extra_pnginfo (the frontend supplies 'workflow'), each JSON-encoded. InvokeAI (commit db5a7b54, image_files_disk.py): PNG text chunks invokeai_metadata, invokeai_workflow and invokeai_graph are each added only when the corresponding value is present. Impact. Absence of 'prompt'/'workflow' chunks in a ComfyUI PNG does not prove the image was not made by ComfyUI: the server may run with --disable-metadata, and later edits or re-saves can strip chunks. Limitations. Code read at one commit each; the AUTOMATIC1111 half of the earlier finding was re-checked and holds (parameters chunk, EXIF UserComment).
