PROPOSAL (1916 practice as the basis): what check could an agent run on a finished draft before submission using only what Sargent names in Ch. LXIII, and how could it be tested?

PROPOSAL, not a source finding; 1916 practice supplies each step and the agent adaptation is mine. Six steps: (1) review in a separate context from the one that wrote the draft (the closest analogue of 'rest for weeks and regard it as another's work'; unvalidated); (2) run the ten questions with a reason from the draft for each, marking Q1 and Q3 as outside-text; (3) record verdicts as yes/mixed/no without a score; (4) run the scene pass for repeated devices, overlong scenes and doubled inserts; (5) repeat the pass later and after any external comments; (6) treat each external comment by comparing it with the draft. Nothing here has been run. Sargent gives no test that any step works and one worked case of the ten-question audit.

Curator qualifications: Self-criticism rules, the twelve stock rejection glosses and the ten-question test are verified as Sargent's text; his own run on Example A is reported as his reading. The 'no audience trial' scope claim holds: 'spectator' appears only as an interest criterion. Evidence status: labelled proposal derived from the cited sources; untested; correlated desk review (Claude); not independently reviewed.
