An ASC-reported 2021 test compared RGB, RGBW and RGBCA panels and a Kino Flo Mimik with a spectrometer and colour meter and found visible improvement over RGB (RGBCA and Mimik better than RGBW for warm and off-white content), without a numeric score; Brompton and ROE describe added white or cyan/amber emitters as broadening the spectrum, Brompton notes cameras see the white LED differently, and ROE claims better SSI and skin rendering without skin data.
